Andrew is an actor and a director (and also sometimes singer, dancer, choreographer, dialect coach, writer, and/or deviser) with a passion for heightened theatrical forms.

A California Bay Area native, Andrew began acting, singing, and dancing professionally at 10. A precocious child with a knack for math, he found himself pursuing theater and STEM simultaneously. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University while continually performing in shows, attending Summer theater programs, and singing, choreographing, writing, and arranging for Stanford's craziest a cappella / comedy group. After graduating he worked for several years as an actor all around the Bay Area, while supporting himself by day as a software engineer for a Silicon Valley tech company.

Andrew moved to New York City in 2010 to attend CAP21's Professional Conservatory Program in Musical Theater. There he discovered a love for directing, and for finding ways to incorporate music and movement into heartful, honest storytelling. After graduating in 2012 he worked as an assistant director for several of his former conservatory instructors while studying theater direction through class and observerships. In 2013, he directed his first full-length production in New York.

He has been busy ever since, sometimes directing, sometimes acting, sometimes teaching and coaching. He is constantly learning from an incredible community of theater artists, and he is always looking for his next collaboration.

Andrew resides just outside of New York City, where he is a company member of Poetic Theater Productions.
